Which group is right for you?

Owners and operations leaders deal with different pressures. Here's which group fits you.

Owners/Partners
For firm owners and partners making the calls on strategy, growth, pricing, and where the firm goes next. Conversations run on ownership-level decisions: acquisitions, partnership structure, hard client calls, and the pressure that comes with being the one everyone looks to.

Operations
For Directors of Operations, Firm Admins, and emerging leaders supporting the firm owner and running the day-to-day. Conversations run on execution: team structure, workflow, technology, and building the systems that let the firm grow without leaning on the owner for everything.

Inside a Session

Here's a look at the questions members bring to the conversations.

Owners/Partners

  • "I need to fire some clients. How do I decide which ones, and what do I tell them?"

  • "I'm thinking about making my employee a partner. What do I need to be aware of?"

  • "We're evaluating an acquisition. How do we know if it's the right fit?"

  • "I want to raise our prices. How do I know if the market will hold?"

Operations

  • "I need to hire for this position. Where are you having success finding good people?"

  • "I'm thinking about implementing this software. Does anyone have experience?"

  • "How do I keep the team efficient without burning them out during busy season?"

  • "How do I balance being the go-between for the owner and the rest of the team?"

Meet Your Facilitators

Every group is led by someone who's spent their career inside accounting firms, not a hired moderator reading from a script. Your facilitator keeps the conversation moving and makes sure every session stays useful.

FAQ

Do I need to be a Collective by DBA member to join a Mastermind Group?

Yes. Mastermind Groups are an add-on to Collective membership. If you're not a member yet, start there.

How much does it cost?

Mastermind Groups are $500/month in addition to your Collective membership.

How often do groups meet?

Once a month, for a 2-hour virtual session. Each session includes sharing current successes and challenges, a short topic-based discussion, and a firm spotlight.

How are groups formed?

Mastermind Groups are capped at 12 members and hand-picked based on firm size, services offered, and leadership priorities, so the room stays relevant to what you're actually dealing with.

What if the group I want is full?

You can join the waitlist for that group, or join one of our new groups forming now. Let us know your preference on the form, and we'll reach out when a spot opens.

Can I switch groups later?

Reach out to your Collective contact if your role or needs change, and we'll help find the right fit.

What's the difference between Owners/Partners and Operations groups?

Owners/Partners is built for firm owners and partners making strategy and growth calls. Operations is built for Directors of Operations, Firm Admins, and emerging leaders running the day-to-day. See the breakdown above for more detail.
