Systemizing AI

August 5, 2026

Learn how accounting firms can move from ad hoc AI use to a systematic, firm-wide approach. Earn 1 CPE credit with Angel Sabino and Amy McCarty.

Artificial intelligence is transforming the accounting profession, but many firms are still relying on individual team members to explore and use AI tools on their own. How do you move from isolated AI experiments to a consistent, scalable approach that benefits the entire firm?

Join Angel Sabino and Amy McCarty as they explore the stages accounting firms typically move through when implementing AI across their organization. This session focuses on helping firm leaders and team members evaluate their current level of AI adoption, identify opportunities for growth, and understand the people, process, and technology considerations required to build sustainable AI systems.

Rather than focusing on specific AI tools or technical implementation, this webinar provides a strategic framework for developing an intentional AI strategy that supports operational efficiency, team collaboration, and long-term firm success.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify the key stages firms move through when evolving from ad hoc AI use to a systematic, firm-wide approach.
  • Recognize the critical questions to ask about people, processes, and technology before building shared AI systems.

Focus Group: Reviewing and Delivering Financials

August 26, 2026

Continue the conversation and collaborate with fellow accounting and bookkeeping professionals in this interactive Reviewing and Delivering Financials Focus Group. Designed as a follow-up to the Reviewing and Delivering Financials webinar, this session provides an opportunity to discuss real-world experiences, share best practices, and learn how others are improving the way they communicate financial results to clients.

We'll begin with a brief review of the key concepts covered in the previous week's webinar before moving into small-group breakout discussions. Whether you're already using video commentary, written summaries, or another approach, you'll gain practical insights from peers facing similar challenges and opportunities.

During the breakout sessions, participants should be prepared to discuss some or all of the following:
1. Walk us through your current process.
How do you currently deliver financial statements to clients each month — do you include video commentary, a written summary, or something else? What's working well, and what feels like a bottleneck?

2. How do you decide what to highlight?
When you're preparing your commentary, how do you determine which numbers or trends are most important to bring to the client's attention? Do you have a checklist, a gut instinct, or something in between?

3. How do you know if it's landing with clients?
Can you tell whether clients are actually reading the statements or watching the videos? And how do you adjust your delivery — format, length, or timing — based on what seems to resonate with different clients?

This collaborative discussion is ideal for bookkeepers, accountants, and outsourced CFOs looking to refine their financial reporting process, improve client communication, and discover practical ideas they can implement in their own firms.
