Preparing Review Ready Financials

June 17, 2026

On June 17 at 12:00 pm CT, we’ll clearly define what “review-ready” financial statements really are: financials that are complete, accurate, and require little to no corrections during review. You’ll learn how to reduce rework, improve accuracy, and increase efficiency across your Staff Accountants and Client Service Managers (CSMs).

We’ll break down the responsibilities required at each level—from reconciliations to properly organized workpapers—and show how a stronger process leads to faster reviews, better team performance, and more scalable operations.
We’ll also cover how Controllers and Managers can reinforce this standard through timely, specific feedback, helping team members continuously improve quality and consistency.

What You’ll Gain:

  • A clear standard for “review-ready” financials (no cleanup required before client delivery)

  • Practical ways to reduce errors and eliminate rework

  • Defined roles for Staff and CSMs to improve output quality and speed

  • Coaching strategies to elevate team performance and accountability

Learning Objectives:

  1. Define the characteristics of truly review-ready financials

  2. Identify Staff and CSM responsibilities in achieving that standard

  3. Understand how Controllers drive quality through effective review and coaching

Who Should Attend: Firm team members involved in financial preparation, review, and workflow management.
